ReefATLAS

MAP. PLAN. CALCULATE. THRIVE

The reef command center built for hobbyists who want fewer guesses, better records, smarter placement decisions, and a healthier aquarium.

Everything your reef needs to make better decisions.

ReefATLAS guides reef keepers through the three questions that matter most: what is happening in the tank, what should I do next, and why does it matter?

What it is

ReefATLAS is the operating system for your reef aquarium.

ReefATLAS is an advanced reef aquarium management platform that combines coral mapping, PAR tracking, equipment documentation, water parameter analytics, dosing calculations, livestock management, controller history, and project notes into a single interactive system.

Instead of bouncing between notebooks, spreadsheets, controller apps, camera rolls, dosing calculators, and memory, reef keepers get one connected project workspace for the entire aquarium.

What we do

We help reef keepers plan, track, analyze, and optimize the whole tank.

ReefATLAS turns scattered reef data into a working system you can actually use, from the first tank setup decision to long-term chemistry stability and coral placement.

01

Aquarium Planning & Setup

Build a digital profile of your aquarium with tank specifications, equipment, aquascape context, water volume, and system configuration. Whether the reef is brand new or already mature, ReefATLAS becomes the central home for system information.

02

Livestock Management

Track fish, corals, and invertebrates with care requirements, growth history, placement locations, photos, and status notes. Keep a complete inventory of the reef ecosystem and understand how it changes over time.

03

Water Parameter Tracking

Record and visualize temperature, salinity, pH, alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nitrate, phosphate, and more. Spot trends, catch potential issues earlier, and understand long-term system stability.

04

Coral Mapping & PAR Analysis

Create an interactive digital map of the aquarium using calibrated photos and positioning tools. Track coral placement, document movement, monitor growth, and visualize PAR distribution so each coral has a better chance to thrive.

05

Controller Integration & Historical Data

Connect supported aquarium controllers, currently including Neptune Apex, to bring probe-backed observations into the project record. Preserve history beyond the limits of disconnected dashboards and review long-term trends beside the rest of the reef.

06

Maintenance & Dosing Management

Track water changes, service intervals, equipment care, and dosing schedules. Use actual water volume, current readings, target parameters, and safe correction rates to make dosing and maintenance less chaotic.

07

Analytics & Insights

Transform reef records into actionable information through trend analysis, dashboards, correction plans, parameter monitoring, and stability scoring. Understand how changes in the system affect coral health and overall reef stability.

08

Photo Documentation

Maintain a visual timeline of the reef. Organize photos by project, coral, view, or date to document growth, coloration, aquascape changes, and system evolution.

01 / Coral map

See the reef as a mapped system, not just a photo.

Upload front, left, right, and top views, calibrate them to the tank, then place coral markers directly on the aquarium image. ReefATLAS keeps those mapped animals tied to livestock records so the map and inventory stay connected.

02 / Water intelligence

Understand chemistry trends with action-oriented context.

Track alkalinity, calcium, magnesium, nutrients, salinity, temperature, and pH over time. ReefATLAS helps users look at balance across the system instead of treating each reading like an isolated pass/fail number.

03 / Tank foundation

Start every calculation with the tank that is actually in front of you.

Select a tank model or enter custom dimensions, then account for display volume, rear chamber or sump volume, rock, sand, and adjusted working volume. Those details feed water chemistry, livestock capacity, and mapping decisions throughout the project.

Detailed Tools For Daily Reef Decisions

ReefATLAS is built around the real questions reef keepers ask every week: what changed, what needs attention, what can be moved, what needs maintenance, and what should be documented before it is forgotten.

Chemistry intelligence

Correction plans explain what to do next, not just whether a value is red or green.

Water values are interpreted in context. ReefATLAS can show why nitrate, phosphate, alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium matter together, then turn that context into corrective guidance such as retesting, dosing carefully, avoiding large swings, or using a measured water change.

Customer benefit: Instead of staring at isolated numbers, users get a prioritized plan that helps avoid over-correcting and keeps stability at the center of the decision.

Controller bridge

Never lose your controller history again.

ReefATLAS Edge™ is a dedicated hardware bridge designed to automatically collect, locally store, and cloud-back up aquarium controller data, creating a permanent historical record of the reef.

Currently designed around Neptune Apex integration, ReefATLAS Edge works in the background so controller-backed readings can live beside water tests, livestock records, maintenance plans, dosing context, and long-term reef analytics.

Live View / Coming Soon

Watch the reef from inside the ReefATLAS workspace.

Live View is designed to bring a connected camera feed into the same workspace as tank history, livestock, maintenance, and water data. The current integration path is built around Ring camera workflows, with room for additional camera/controller integrations as the platform grows.

For customers, this means visual observation can live beside the data: check coral extension, feeding response, flow behavior, and equipment status without jumping between apps.

Who we are

ReefATLAS was built by reef keepers for reef keepers who want more control, more context, and fewer expensive guesses.

After countless hours of reef keeping, testing, tracking, and troubleshooting, we realized there was not a single tool that allowed hobbyists to manage their entire reef system in one place.

Successful reef keeping requires balancing dozens of variables. Hobbyists often jump between spreadsheets, notebooks, controller dashboards, dosing calculators, livestock databases, and scattered photos just to understand what is happening in their aquarium. We believed there had to be a better way.

Our goal is simple: help reef keepers make better decisions, avoid costly mistakes, and create healthier, more successful aquariums through better organization, visualization, and data.

Map

Build a visual record of coral placement and tank layout.

Plan

Use PAR, flow, livestock needs, and tank dimensions to guide placement.

Calculate

Support dosing, volume, displacement, and chemistry decisions with project data.

Thrive

Keep the reef healthier by connecting observations, history, and maintenance.

Built for every reefer

Your reef is too expensive, too alive, and too important to manage from memory.

Whether you are setting up your first aquarium or managing a mature SPS-dominated ecosystem, ReefATLAS gives you the tools to better understand, maintain, and grow a successful reef.
